This Fertility & Pregnancy Institute library entry is in response to a question about water consumption during pregnancy.
Water consumption during pregnancy is very important for many reasons, including amniotic fluid levels. I can’t stress that! So the minimum is 64 ounces of water per day, plus eight ounces for every one hour of physical activity. So the more active you are, the more water you need to drink.
My recommendation is you get a 64 ounce bottle, there’s a clean canteen that’s 64 ounces. Sometimes you see me drinking out of it a silver (a big silver) one. Fill it in the morning and then make sure you drink at least one of those per day. I would take it to teach at the university, when I’m out collecting dates, like Wherever I am, I would just have it with me. I always knew I was drinking enough water for my super babies.
